Job Description

We are seeking passionate Active Support Workers to join our casual team across our Heatherton day program.

Working Monday to Friday (8:45am–3:15pm), you will support Autistic adults in a community-based setting, helping them build life skills, independence, social connection, and participation in everyday activities.

You’ll be part of a supportive team that delivers meaningful, strengths-based support in a positive and engaging setting.

Important Location Requirement

To be considered for this role, you must live within approximately 20–30 minutes of our Heatherton site.

This is an key requirement due to the nature of the role, the regular Monday–Friday hours and the need for a sustainable commute. Please consider your travel time during peak periods before applying.

Facilitate activities that build independence, communication and daily living skills
Promote social engagement, wellbeing and community participation
Work collaboratively within a supportive, multidisciplinary team
