We are working with a Nationwide Transport & Logistics Specialist to help them find their next Inbound Manager!

This is one of Australia's fastest growing transport providers and as such we are in need of an experienced Inbound Manager for their early morning deliveries across Brisbane & Gold Coast.

n

The Inbound Manager is responsible for overseeing all inbound / outbound freight operations within the branch during the nightshift, ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-effective movement of goods. This role aligns with operational standards and strategic objectives, maintaining compliance, safety, and service excellence.

n

This is a Nightshift position that includes a Midnight or 1am start.

Key Responsibilities of this role may include:

n

Lead and manage inbound freight processes, ensuring adherence to schedules and customer requirements
n
Monitor KPIs for accuracy, delivery timelines, and cost efficiency
n
Supervise and mentor team members
n
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
n
Address employee concerns and conduct performance evaluations
n
Ensure compliance with WHS regulations and company policies
n
Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions where necessary
n




Oversee the recruitment and induction processes for personnel ensuring demonstrated knowledge of company and industry standards
n
Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development in all aspects
n
Identify and implement strategies to optimise workflows
n
Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations
n
Ensure that all equipment is maintained according to safety standards
n
Maintain accurate documentation for audits and internal reviews.
n

Key Skills / Experience for this role may include:

n

n
Solid leadership and people management skills
n
Proficiency in logistics systems and Microsoft Office Suite
n
Knowledge of freight compliance and safety standards
n
Minimum 5 years in logistics or freight management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
n
Experience in inbound operations within a high-volume workplace
n
Functional financial acumen and budget management skills
n
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
n
Ability to make informed decisions and problem solve under pressure.
n
