Job Description

Our client, Kinetic Orthotics, is a specialised orthotic (foot arch support) manufacturer based in Marcoola on the Sunshine Coast. There is an prospect for a Production Operator to join the manufacturing facility.

This is a hands-on role in a small experienced team which specialises in making custom-made orthotic products. The products are manufactured based on prescriptions from podiatrists in the Dan Everson Podiatry Group, and other podiatrists around Australia and internationally.

What the job involves

n

You will be responsible for carrying out a range of duties, including the tasks described below. You will be able to work in a factory environment while maintaining a high level of quality. Work hours are: 6.00am - 2.30pm (Monday to Thursday) and 6.00am - 12.00pm (Friday).

Production Assistance

n

The main tasks are:

n

n
cutting material for orthotics
n
shaping orthotics
n
grinding and sanding orthotics into shape
n
gluing different parts of the orthotic product together
n
working safely and
n




packing product to be shipped and dispatch.
n

Your skills and experience

n

You will need:

n

n
to be comfortable in a factory setting
n
have good hand skills and an interest in machinery (eg CNC machine, milling machine, saws, drills etc)
n
to be reliable with a stable work history
n
able to work unsupervised and be highly motivated
n
to have relevant industry knowledge and/or experience
n
strong communication skills (verbal and written)
n
a high level of honesty and integrity.
n
You must be willing to obtain a police check if requested.
n
