Our client, Maclean District Hospital, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department on a contract basis.
This is a minimum 6-week engagement starting 17 August ****, offering the chance to work in a dynamic acute care environment where your clinical expertise and leadership will make a real difference to patient outcomes.
Work in a busy emergency department delivering high-acuity care across triage, resuscitation, and acute presentations

Preferred Requirements
Current competence in Australian Triage Scale assessment and application
Advanced Life Support (ALS)



certification that is current and valid
Demonstrated in-charge or shift leadership experience in an emergency or acute care setting
Strong clinical decision-making skills and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with electronic medical records and standard clinical documentation practices
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in Emergency Nursing
Additional certifications in trauma or critical care nursing are highly valued
