Base pay range
A$200,******/yr - A$230,******/yr

We're now looking for a technically experienced Pre-Construction Manager to strengthen our ability to plan and win technically challenging projects — while supporting a more scalable and sustainable delivery model.
About the Role
This newly created role is a game-changer for our business.
As Pre-Construction Manager, you'll lead the front end of our most important projects — shaping construction methodologies, solving complex buildability challenges, and ensuring that every bid we submit reflects our capability, creativity, and commercial strength.
You'll work closely with our estimators, project managers, and construction managers to bring structure and strategy to how we win work — and bring consistency to how we prepare for delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of construction methodology, staging plans, and site logistics — especially in live, operational, or heritage environments
Collaborate with our estimating team to align methodology, prelims, and programme
Interface with architects, designers, engineers, and clients to resolve technical issues early




Write and review submission content for EOIs, RFTs, and negotiated proposals
Attend tender interviews and site inspections as the technical face of the business
Build a methodology and staging library to reduce MD/PM input into tenders
Work with our operations coordinator to improve pre-construction systems and process
About You
Must-Haves:
7+ years of commercial construction experience, with hands-on delivery background
Deep understanding of buildability, sequencing, and structural interfacing
Experience with hospitality refurbishments, structural upgrades, or live site delivery
Strong written communication skills and ability to shape compelling methodology narratives
Familiar with Cubit, Procore, Microsoft Project, and tender programming
Bonus Points:
Design & Construct (D&C;) or ECI experience
History of leading successful tender submissions for high-endcommercial/hospitalityprojects
A systems mindset — you like to build repeatable tools and scalable processes
