Senior Environmental Advisor - Contaminated Land
As a Senior Environmental Consultant with our client, a leading environmental consultancy in Australia, you'll focus on office-based tasks including analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, specialising in contaminated land.
Responsibilities include leading state-wide intrusive investigations, conducting site inspections, and preparing technical reports for environmental assessments.
Your role will utilise expertise in contaminated land guidance to inform decisions and solutions.
Base pay range
A$130,******/yr - A$175,******/yr
Key Responsibilities
Manage the project and teams on complex projects.
Preparing technical reports and proposals, ensuring accurate cost calculations.
Travel throughout the state to undertake surveys, often in remote locations for extended survey periods, but always considering your work/life balance.
Making technical decisions and providing solutions based on expertise.
What You'll Bring
Degree qualification in environmental science or ecology discipline, zoology




Significant experience consulting experience as an environmental scientist / Advisor within the contaminated land sector.
6-10 years' experience in various environmental services.
Proven experience in proposal development and project management and working as part of a team.
Proven experience in supervision of junior team members, with the ability to mentor, and taking a leading role in field surveys.
