Job summary:

1.Flexible hours available

2.1 year of relevant work experience required for this role

3.Expected salary: $85,000 per year

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Cook to join our team.

You will be responsible for preparing daily meals that meet the dietary needs

of our residents while maintaining food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Plan, prepare, and cook meals according to dietary requirements

2.Maintain a clean and organized kitchen in compliance with food safety

standards

3.Work closely with care staff to accommodate individual food

preferences and allergies

4.Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed





5.Ensure portion control and minimal food waste

What We’re Looking For:

1.Proven experience as a cook, preferably in aged care or health care

settings

2.Knowledge of special dietary needs and food safety regulations

3.Ability to work independently and as part of a team

4.Certificate in Commercial Cookery (preferred)

Current Food Handling Certificate

Police Check and Working With Children/Vulnerable People Check
