The Role
n
We're looking for an experienced Leading Hand Carpenter to work across both arms of our business — leading residential renovation projects with Renovare and supporting commercial fit-outs with Salson Projects. You'll need robust residential renovation experience and be ready to take charge of a small crew on-site.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead and coordinate small crews on residential and commercial sites
n
Carry out residential renovation carpentry: framing, structural alterations, decking, doors/windows, kitchens, built-ins and finishing carpentry
n
Carry out commercial fit-out carpentry: joinery, partitions, shopfronts and fixtures
n
Read and interpret plans and scopes of work
n
Mentor apprentices and check quality of their work
n
Maintain a protected worksite and comply with WHS requirements
n

What You'll Need
n

Current White Card
n
Solid, demonstrable experience in residential renovations (essential)
n
Experience operating as, or ready to step up to, a leading hand
n
Own tools and current drivers license
n
Comfortable working in occupied residential homes with a professional, client-facing manner
n
