About the role

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Maintenance Officer to join our energetic Townsville based team on a full time basis. This position is based in the heart of the City, where you'll work with the Townsville team and the Operations Manager to carry out a wide range of property maintenance tasks. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring our properties are well-presented, protected, and operating smoothly, reflecting our commitment to quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

Attending to general repairs and maintenance
n
Completing daily task requests efficiently and professionally
n
Coordinating with external contractors and suppliers as required
n
Conducting routine property inspections and identifying maintenance needs
n
Providing prompt support in response to urgent maintenance issues
n
Maintaining accurate records of completed work and materials used
n
Assisting contractors with major repairs as needed
n
Allowing access for contractors to site
n
Help clean as required
n
On call for other duties as required
n
n
The ideal candidate:
n
n
Basic knowledge and experience in maintenance (plumbing, patching and painting, gardening, general maintenance repairs)
n
Fit and able to complete work outdoors
n
Ability to work weekends as needed
n
Ability to work independently
n
Current Australian Driver's License (Manual)
n
Able to prioritise and organise multiple tasks
