Tuscan Marble and Granite Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Stonemason to join our fabrication workshop team. This is a factory-based role focused on cutting, shaping, and polishing natural stone products using industry-standard machinery. The successful candidate will work with a range of stone materials to produce high-quality stone products for kitchen benchtops and other applications.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

n

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

n

Studying plans, drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and fabrication procedures

n

Cutting, shaping and polishing natural stone blocks and slabs using machines including bridge saws, CNC equipment, and hand tools

n

Fabricating stone kitchen benchtops including cutting, polishing, joining and installation preparation

n

Checking dimensions and quality of finished products against specifications

n

Operating and maintaining workshop machinery and equipment

n





Ensuring work is completed to quality standards and within specified tolerances

n

Maintaining a clean, secure and organised work environment

n

Adhering to all workplace health and safety requirements

n

Skills and Experience Required

n

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in stonemasonry/fabrication work

n

Proven experience operating fabrication machinery (bridge saws, CNC equipment, polishing machines)

n

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

n

Strong attention to detail and quality control

n

Reliable, punctual and self-motivated

n

Full Australian work rights

Preferred:

n

Experience with natural stone products (e.g. granite, marble, limestone) is highly regarded
n
