Compensation & Benefits
$******* - $******* per hour, depending on skills and experience
$105,000 - $115,000+ earning potential including overtime loading and generous allowances, inclusive of super
Tool Allowance: $***** payable weekly
Attendance Allowance: $32 payable on rostered worked hours
Annual Leave: loading of 17.5%

Role Responsibilities
Diagnosing, inspecting, reconditioning, repairing, assembling the fleet and ensuring safety, quality and Busways standards are followed at all times
Maintaining all company vehicles and assets in accordance with Manufacturer's guidelines
Ensuring all maintenance work is performed according to company procedures
Attending breakdowns and carrying out any field related mechanical repairs
Effectively and efficiently communicate any safety or maintenance issues
Adhering to all Work, Health & Safety requirements whilst performing work duties
Maintaining clean workshop practices
Reporting and repairing all accident damage as required
Performing ad-hoc tasks and other duties as directed
Qualifications
Hold the relevant trade qualifications (MVTC) essential
Certificate III in commercial vehicle mechanical technology or above; alternatively Certificate III in light vehicle mechanical technology with 4‐5 years post‐apprenticeship experience in a similar role with the same responsibilities will be highly regarded
Experience in the service and maintenance of vehicles (training provided to develop these skills)
Ensure adherence and understanding to WHS regulations and relevant company policies
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team workplace on daily maintenance and repair schedules
Proactive approach with a drive for continuous improvement
Physically fit to carry out the necessities of the role
Willing to undergo a pre‐employment medical check and working with children check
Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have unrestricted working rights in Australia
Hold a current Unrestricted Australian drivers licence issued by the relevant State
Preferred but Not Required
Medium Rigid (MR) or above Australian drivers licence
Heavy vehicle diesel mechanic experience (training and development provided)
