About the role

We're seeking a dynamic Applied Legal Technology (ALT) Consultant to join our Applied Legal Technology team to drive the effective use of innovative solutions across dispute and regulatory matters.
As an Applied Legal Technology Consultant, you'll collaborate closely with lawyers and senior team members to deliver best‐practice technology and information management services.
You'll play a key role in project coordination, advising legal teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of cutting‐edge technology solutions.
This is an exciting chance for someone with strong knowledge of the legal technology industry and a proactive, team‐oriented approach.
This is a full‐time, permanent position with the flexibility to be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Perth.
Key Responsibilities
Advise legal teams on effective, efficient use of technology‐based information management in dispute and regulatory matters
Coordinate and manage projects, working independently and collaboratively with the national team
Conduct data processing and analysis
Administer and maintain databases
Share knowledge and contribute to team meetings, practice group initiatives, and educational sessions
Create and maintain project documentation, including file notes, registers, logs, and reports
Manage insourcing and outsourcing of project tasks, and build relationships with third parties
Assist with training and development of colleagues
Record timesheets and achieve budgeted financial revenue
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
Minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience within a similar role
Experience with Nuix Neo, Nuix Workstation, Nuix Discover, Relativity, or similar legal technology tools
Experience with Gen AI tools desirable
Understanding of relational database principles and Microsoft Access advantageous
Demonstrates respect, professionalism, and adaptability in all interactions
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrates a service‐orientated mindset
Supports and guides colleagues, inspiring others to work with them
Anticipates and exceeds client expectations, building strong relationships
Applies technical knowledge with attention to detail and high professional standards
Manages multiple tasks efficiently, meeting deadlines and budgets
Has project management and time management skills, with a flexible, proactive attitude
Can build relationships and influence key stakeholders
Excellent technical skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
