Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Database Focus)
We're looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer with a solid SQL Server and/or Oracle DBA background to join a large, complex enterprise environment.
You'll work on critical systems, lead technical initiatives, and mentor junior engineers while helping shape future‐state database solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing and supporting enterprise database environments
Performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
Availability, backup, disaster recovery, patching, and upgrades
Working closely with infrastructure, application, and cloud teams
Driving continuous improvement and modernisation initiatives
What We're Looking For
5+ years' experience as an Enterprise DBA (SQL Server ********* and/or Oracle 19c+)
Strong experience with Always On Availability Groups and/or Oracle Always‐On monitoring
Proven performance tuning and troubleshooting capability
Able to work autonomously and guide junior engineers
Current NV1 security clearance
