Branch Member Consultant – Part-Time
MAYDAY Recruitmentis excited to partner with a well-established and purpose-driven organisation to recruit aBranch Member Consultantfor their Adelaide-based branch.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer‐focused sales professional who enjoys building genuine relationships, working towards KPIs and helping people make informed decisions about their insurance and healthcare needs.
You'll join asmall, supportive teamwhere you'll have the opportunity to build long‐term relationships with customers and make a genuine difference to their experience.
The Opportunity
This is apermanent part‐time position, working22.5 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday, 8:45am – 5:00pm.
You'll receive comprehensive training to set you up for success:
1 week of full‐time induction training, with travel and accommodation arranged
Followed by3 weeks of training in the branch
Some flexibility can be considered during the branch training period for the right candidate
Once fully trained, you'll work a rotating Saturday roster, approximately1–2 Saturdays per month, 10:00am – 2:00pm, with additional pay for these shifts
This is a role where the organisation is looking for someone who is genuinely interested inbuilding a long‐term career.
What You'll Be Doing
Provide exceptional face‐to‐face and telephone service to customers
Have needs‐based conversations to understand customers' circumstances and recommend appropriate insurance products
Work towards individual and team KPIs while maintaining a strong focus on customer outcomes
Resolve customer enquiries and problems, going above and beyond to deliver a positive experience
Build strong,



trusted relationships with customers and the local community
Maintain accurate customer information in line with organisational policies and procedures
Learn and confidently navigate internal systems and processes
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who combinesstrong customer service skills with a genuine sales mindset.
You'll ideally bring:
Previous experience insales and customer service, ideally working towards KPIs or targets
Confidence building rapport and holding meaningful conversations with customers
An empathetic and customer‐focused approach
Strong communication skills and the ability to understand and respond to individual needs
Confidence learning and navigating new systems
A collaborative, adaptable and positive approach
A genuine interest in building along‐term career
Experience inprivate health insurance or financial serviceswould be highly regarded, however candidates fromretail sales or other customer‐focused environmentsare also encouraged to apply.
What's In It For You?
$66K + super for a full‐time equivalent role, pro rata to approximately$39 per hour for 22.5 hours per week
