Mechanical Fitters – Power Station Outage

n

An established and reputable engineering firm is seeking experienced and motivated Mechanical Fitters to join the team for a Power Station outage with an immediate start required.

n

This is a major outage project with consistent hours, strong rates, and accommodation provided.

Roster:

n

Monday to Saturday – 11-hour shifts
n

Accommodation provided

The Role

n

You will be part of a structured shutdown crew working across fixed plant equipment within a Power Station workplace. Duties will include but are not limited to:

n

n
Crusher Rebuilds
n
Chain Feeder Rebuilds
n

n

Work will involve heavy mechanical tasks, structural fabrication, confined space entry, rigging support, and working at heights in an outage environment.

n

Requirements

n

n
Trade Qualified Fitter
n
Previous Power Station Experience (highly regarded)
n
Minimum 2+ years of Power Station experience required
n




Ability to pass D&A; test
n
Current Driver's Licence
n
White Card
n
Current Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Test Atmospheres Certificates
n
Licence to Perform High Risk Work - Elevated Work Platform (EWP) & Basic Rigging (RB) a bonus
n
