About the role

We are partnering with a well‐established financial services organisation to appoint a Head of Human Resources. This key executive leadership position reports directly to the CEO and takes ownership of the global people function.

Location: Sydney CBD. The role requires global experience and a robust background in financial services.

n

Responsibilities

n

As Head of HR, you will lead a team across Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Employee Relations and Payroll. Your responsibilities include:

Lead and develop the global HR function across Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Employee Relations and Payroll
n
Partner with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team on people strategy, organisational design and workforce planning
n
Drive initiatives in leadership development, performance, succession planning and employee engagement
n
Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, organisational change and workforce risk
n
Continue to evolve HR processes, governance and operating models to support business growth
n




Work closely with leaders across the organisation to build capability and improve organisational effectiveness
n
Drive a high‐performance culture while ensuring compliance across multiple international locations
n

About You

n

n
Proven experience leading an HR function within organisations of 500+ employees.
n
Robust international HR experience, particularly across the APAC region, with a solid understanding of Australian employment legislation.
n
Experience operating within both rapid‐growth and established organisations.
n
A background across HR strategy, Employee Relations, HR Operations, organisational design and change management.
n
The ability to influence and partner with executive stakeholders while leading high‐performing HR teams.
n
Experience within financial services, fintech, banking or another regulated industry will be highly regarded.
n
Fluency in both Mandarin and English is essential.
