As our Fuels & Energy East business continues to grow, we are inviting Expressions of InterestfromCostEngineersinterestedinexpanding their experience across the bulk storage, fuels,refiningand terminal infrastructure sectors.
This is an prospect to become part of a highly experienced team delivering solutions for some of Australia's most critical assets.
You will gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of fuel terminals, storage facilities, refining infrastructure, brownfield modifications, asset integrity programs, capitalprojectsand operational support activities.You'llwork alongside industry experts and develop valuable experience across the full asset lifecycle, from concept and design through toprocurement,constructionandcommissioning.

KeyResponsibilities




Monitor project cost and schedule performance against approvedbaselines,identifyingvariances,trendsandrisks to support informed decision-making.
Ensureaccurateallocationof project costs across Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)elements,maintainingfinancialintegrity and reporting accuracy.
Collect,verifyand analyse site execution data, includinglabour,materialsandcontractor costs, to support cost tracking and forecasting activities.
Developandmaintaindetailedproject cost forecasts, incorporating actual costs, commitments,productivitytrendsandanticipatedprojectoutcomes.
Prepare,consolidateandanalyse project cost data, contributing to monthly operational reports,managementupdatesandproject performance reviews.
Support project controls and governance processes through cost reporting, change management, earned value analysis and the identification of cost-saving opportunities across fuel terminal, bulkstorageand infrastructure projects.
About you
Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Controls, Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in Cost Engineering within engineering consultancies, EPC/EPCM contractors, or major industrial project environments, with exposure to fuel terminals,



oil & gas, energy, or bulk storage projects highly regarded.
Advanced Excel skills with proven capability in analysing large datasets, developing cost models and forecasts, and producing high-quality project reports.
Experience with Power BI and other reporting and visualisation tools isadvantageous.
Working knowledge of project and enterprise systems such as SAP, Primavera P6 and other project controls platforms, with the ability to integrate cost and schedule dataforaccurateperformancereporting.
Proven ability to manage cost control activities across multiple concurrent work fronts within complex industrial, brownfield or operational environments.
Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability toprovideclear costinsights,identifyrisksand support effective project decision-making.
