Senior Systems Accountant (AI and Transformation)

We're creating this role because our finance function needs someone who can bring AI into how the work actually gets done.
This isn't just a maintenance seat.
You'll ensure the core platforms (and sources) are right then build the tools, the automations and the systems that take the manual grind off the finance team's plate, then help shape where the transformation agenda goes next.

The Role
You own the finance systems and AI agenda across the group.
Day to day, you'll be:
Building reporting tools, automations and data pipelines across our accounting platforms




Consolidating financial data from Xero, MYOB and our ERP across dozens of entities
Coaching accountants across the group in current systems and AI tools
Partnering with the Group CFO and GM of AI to shape the transformation roadmap
Strengthening data integrity and closing out control or security gaps early
Translating what each business unit needs into systems and reporting solutions
Who We're Looking For
You see AI as a tool for real work, not a buzzword, and you get a genuine kick out of untangling complexity.
You're the right fit if you:
Hold a CA or CPA qualification, or equivalent grounding
Are hands on with Xero, MYOB and ERP implementations
Build tools through low code, no code or scripting
Are already experimenting with LLMs and AI in your work
Have a track record of driving change through to delivery
And the non-negotiables - you check every number with a genuine accountant's eye, you get excited about bringing AI into everyday finance work rather than just talking about it, and you build trust with people by being clear, responsive and easy to work with.
