What you'll be doing

Working on forensic accounting and dispute advisory engagements
n
Preparing business valuations, loss and damage calculations and financial analysis
n
Reviewing financial performance and interpreting complex accounting information
n
Drafting reports and supporting expert evidence
n
Liaising with solicitors, clients and senior stakeholders
n
Contributing to business development and practice growth
n

What you'll need
n
n
CA, CPA or CFA qualified
n
Qualified accounting experience gained in public practice, audit, business services, insolvency or forensic accounting
n
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
n
If you're coming from audit, your financial statement fluency and evidence-based mindset transfer well here. The main shift is learning to write for a legal audience rather than an audit file.

If you're coming from insolvency, your experience analysing distressed businesses and managing different stakeholders transfers directly into this kind of work.
n
For candidates already in forensic accounting, experience preparing valuation reports and/or commercial loss and damage reports would be highly regarded.
