Make a Difference in Mental Health Care We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Nurse to join a specialist mental health service focused on delivering high-quality, recovery-oriented care.
Working within a supportive multidisciplinary environment, you will play a key role in supporting individuals experiencing mental health and addiction challenges while contributing to positive clinical outcomes and patient wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive mental health and risk assessments
Deliver recovery-focused nursing care and therapeutic interventions
Administer and manage medications safely and effectively
Monitor, evaluate and document patient progress
Facilitate psychoeducation and therapeutic group programs
Coordinate discharge planning and continuity of care
Support patients, families and carers throughout treatment
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and external providers
Maintain accurate clinical records and compliance requirements
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
About You
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Postgraduate Mental Health qualification highly regarded




Experience in mental health, addiction, inpatient, community or acute settings
Strong assessment and risk management capabilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to recovery-oriented and trauma-informed care
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
