About our Client:Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer and supplier of roll-formed steel building products.
They specialize in steel roofing, wall cladding, rainwater products (gutters and fascias), structural purlins, flooring, and roller doors for residential and commercial projects.
About the Role:The role will involve working in their manufacturing section with machinery operating/manufacturing mill work.
You will be responsible for operating and monitoring folding machinery to ensure products are manufactured safely, accurately and to a high standard.
Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate folding machines and associated equipment
Read and follow job specifications and production instructions
Check finished products for quality and accuracy
Make machine adjustments as required
Monitor production output and minimise waste
Carry out basic machine maintenance and cleaning
Follow workplace health and safety procedures
Maintain a clean and organised work area
About YouPrevious experience operating folding or production machinery
Good grasp on mathematics
Good attention to detail and quality
Ability to read and understand job specifications
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Solid reliability and work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to workplace health and safety
A background in Sheet Metal would be highly regarded
