Construction & Maintenance Labourers - Brisbane Southside (Logan & Surrounds)

Join a large and well-established local government organisation delivering a wide range of infrastructure, maintenance, and civil construction projects across one of South East Queensland's fastest-growing regions.

Your new role

n

n
Operate MR/HR trucks to transport materials, equipment, and supplies to and from sites.
n
Operate machinery such as rollers to carry out compaction works on roads, subdivisions, and infrastructure projects.
n
Operate Excavators to dig, move and load earth, rock & rubble on construction sites.
n
Conduct daily pre-start inspections and basic maintenance checks on vehicles and plant.
n
Maintain parks & gardens in public spaces, using mowers, whipper snippets and landscaping tools.
n
Work alongside site supervisors and crews to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
n

What you'll need to succeed

n

n




Construction White Card (Required for all roles within this organisation)
n
HR/MR Truck Licence (Essential for some roles, but not all)
n
Roller, Dozer, Excavator Tickets (Essential for some roles, but not all)
n
Additional civil tickets and plant operating experience are highly regarded!
n
Previous experience in civil construction or labouring or landscaping
n
Solid commitment to workplace health and safety, and to work in a team environment
n
Willingness to commit to an ongoing temporary assignment
n
