Procurement Specialist - Temporary Contract

Western Sydney - NSW | 6-Month Contract | $54 - $63 per hour + Super

An excellent prospect exists for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our client on a six-month temporary contract. Based onsite, you will support the delivery of procurement and tendering activities while ensuring compliance, governance, and value-for-money outcomes across a range of projects.

About the Role
n
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will:
n
n
Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including RFQs, RFTs and Expressions of Interest.
n
Coordinate tender evaluations and undertake pricing and market analysis.
n
Prepare procurement reports, recommendations and contract documentation.
n
Provide procurement advice and support to internal stakeholders.
n
Ensure procurement processes comply with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
n
Support supplier relationship management and procurement planning activities.
n
n
About You
n
To be successful, you will have:
n
n
Demonstrated experience managing procurement, tendering and quotation processes.
n
Strong knowledge of procurement principles and contract management practices.
n
Excellent analytical, report writing and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
Experience preparing evaluation reports and procurement recommendations.
n
The ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities.
n
Relevant tertiary qualifications, a Certificate IV/Diploma in Procurement, or equivalent industry experience.
n
Local Government or public sector experience will be highly regarded.
n
n
