We are seeking a reliable, hands-on yardperson to join our team at our Centra Park Street site in Macksville. This is a key role supporting our sales and operations to ensure everything runs smoothly day-to-day.

About the Role
n
As a yardperson you will play a critical role in supporting sales by:
n
n
Moving trucks, trailers, plant, and equipment throughout the yard and other sites
n
Transporting vehicles to and from suppliers, customer sites, and inspection locations
n
Assisting with yard organisation, cleanliness, and housekeeping
n
Supporting other staff with general operational duties
n
Conducting basic vehicle inspections and reporting defects
n
Assisting with loading and unloading equipment when required
n
Fitting and repairing tyres on trucks
n
Contributing as a key member of a productive and safety-focused team
n
Following safety procedures and maintaining compliance standards
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Experience, or willing to learn, operating trucks and/or mobile plant equipment
n
Solid commitment to safety and compliance
n
Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced workshop and yard workplace
n
Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented attitude
n
Willingness to undertake manual handling and general labouring tasks when required
n
Good communication skills and a positive approach to work
n
Fit/healthy
n
Current HR Licence
n
Experience within transport, logistics, heavy vehicle, or heavy industry environments
n
Basic mechanical knowledge and aptitude
n
