AbouttheRole
In this roleyou will provide psychologicalassessment,formulationandinterventionservices for consumers with complex mental health andforensicpresentations.
This rolecombines therapeutic practice with clinical leadership,consultation,supervisionand service development within a forensic mental health service.
Working as partof a multidisciplinary team, you willapplypsychologicalexpertisetocomprehensiveassessment,treatmentplanningandrisk management, supporting recovery whilepromoting community safety.
In addition todirect clinical work, you will provideconsultation,educationandsupportto treating teams across North Queensland, contributing toworkforcecapabilityand the delivery of contemporary forensic mental health practice.The role also offers opportunities to provide supervision, mentoring andclinical leadership while contributing to service development within aninnovative forensic mental health service.
