We're seeking an exceptional Grid Integration Manager to join a world-leading energy storage technology company with over 20GWh of projects deployed globally across 47 countries.

You'll be the technical bridge between complex grid requirements and innovative energy solutions, playing a pivotal role in Australia's transition to renewable energy.
What You'll Do
Lead the complete grid connection lifecycle across multiple utility-scale BESS and hybrid renewable projects in the NEM
Drive cutting-edge grid-forming technology deployment - work with Australia's most advanced battery systems that actively support grid stability
Shape project outcomes from day one - provide expert input into project bids, grid risk assessments, and GPS strategy during pre-contract stages
Master complex technical modelling using PSCAD/EMT for inverter-based resources, ensuring compliance with NSP and AEMO requirements
Navigate the full regulatory journey - manage R0, R1, and R2 compliance packages and engage directly with AEMO and network service providers
Bridge technical and commercial worlds - collaborate across sales, engineering, legal, and delivery teams to align connection strategies with business objectives
Represent the company externally - participate in industry working groups, technical forums, and customer-facing engagements
What You Bring
6-10+ years' experience in NEM grid connection,



power systems engineering, or renewable integration
Deep expertise in GPS requirements, NSP/AEMO engagement, and Australian connection processes
Advanced technical skills in PSCAD and EMT-type modelling for inverter-based resources
Grid-forming technology knowledge and understanding of system strength, dynamic performance standards
Cross-functional collaboration skills - proven ability to work across technical and commercial teams
Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (CPEng or RPEQ highly regarded)
Project development experience working with developers, OEMs, or grid consultants preferred
