Our client is looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in their workmanship and is looking for a long-term chance with a reputable steel fabrication company.
The Role
Working as part of the fabrication team, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating a range of steel components and structures, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality, accuracy and safety.
Key Responsibilities
MIG welding and steel fabrication
Reading and interpreting workshop drawings
Measuring, cutting, fitting and assembling steel components
Completing welding and fabrication work to a high standard
Using a range of hand and power tools
Ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Working both independently and as part of a team
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous experience in welding and fabrication
Is confident with MIG welding
Can read and understand basic engineering/fabrication drawings
Has strong attention to detail
Takes pride in producing quality workmanship
Can work independently and as part of a team
Has a strong work ethic and reliable attitude
Is committed to workplace health and safety
