Our Client is one of Australia’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of steel reinforcing products. They supply reinforcing steel, mesh, bar and associated products for residential, commercial, civil, mining and infrastructure projects across Australia.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Welder, you will be responsible for the below duties:
Interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans
Weld and assemble reinforcing steel and prefabricated components
Complete MIG and tack welding to required specifications
Prepare, cut, grind and fit steel components
Operate hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery
Maintain a clean and protected work area
What You Will Need
To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:
Previous MIG and tack welding experience
Previous production or manufacturing experience
Ability to read engineering drawings and fabrication plans
Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
What’s in it for you

Monday to Friday, 5am–1pm roster
