Impact you'll make
At Lam, as a Supply Chain Business Manager, you play a crucial role in partnering with suppliers to drive operational excellence.
Your data-driven approach ensures effective planning, scheduling, and monitoring material movement through our dynamic global production cycle.
You'll benchmark and monitor supplier performance to manage risk.
By driving continuous supplier process improvements you support the productivity and efficiency of Lam's operations.
What you'll do
Responsible for both strategic and tactical management of Finished Goods delivery from end to end
Ensure supply chain and material readiness to support transition requirements (product and factory transitions)
Define and monitor supplier performance indexes
Review/approve expedite fees in support of delivery requirements
Be the single point of contact for escalation point for delivery issues/misses
Manage merge in transit process and execute to supply chain strategies (material, inventory, capacity, recovery and etc)
Lead cross-functional teams / manage task force activities in support of critical supplier recovery and support plans
Daily/weekly updates to Lam stakeholders on delivery status from Remote Factories




Process improvement to deploy & develop best known methods related to procurement, inventory control (e.g., JIT, Kanban, min/max) & manufacturing strategies
Work closely with engineering and suppliers to resolve complex problems to ensure on time delivery of critical material to support customers and company requirements
Monitor product cost preventing negative PPV and supporting cost reduction efforts
Any other duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor
Who we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or Business-related field
More than 3 years related experience in Supply chain operation and planning management
SAP knowledge is a MUST
Highly competent communicator who can successfully interact with cross functional teams, sponsors, management and business partners
Proven ability to identify project objectives and project approach to achieve business needs
Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Access, Visio and PowerPoint
Some travel will be required

'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
