A health service on the NSW/VIC border is seeking Consultant Psychiatrists to provide weekend locum coverage for an adult inpatient mental health unit throughout ****.
This role involves onsite clinical coverage during the day with on‐call support outside of those hours, within a well‐supported multidisciplinary inpatient workplace.
Key Details
Department: Mental Health – Adult Inpatient Unit
Setting: 24‐bed locked inpatient unit with 3 Intensive Care Area (ICA) beds
Support: Registrar support 08:*******:30 on Saturday and Sunday
Payment: $2,500 per day
Accommodation: Provided
Travel: Car hire (approval required) or reimbursement for own vehicle at ATO rates
Shift Structure
Onsite: 08:*******:00 daily
On‐call: Phone support after 14:00
