Mechanical Fitters – Multiple Shifts Available Laverton VIC

Join a Leading Manufacturing Team. We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a busy manufacturing and maintenance team based in Laverton.

n

We have opportunities available across Day, Afternoon and Night Shifts, with weekend work required when production is operating or scheduled maintenance is being completed.

n

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and servicing production equipment to ensure safe and productive plant operations. You will work as part of a skilled maintenance team supporting continuous production and preventative maintenance programs.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production equipment
n
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
n
Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
n
Carry out machinery servicing, inspections and repairs
n
Complete maintenance records and documentation
n
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives
n




Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams
n
Follow all workplace health, safety and food safety procedures
n

About You

n

n
Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter
n
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
n
Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Welding experience is advantageous
n
Forklift licence is desirable but not essential
n
Strong commitment to safety and quality
n
