About the role

n

Reach to Care is seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our team in the Leeton. In this role, you will provide compassionate and individualised care for people with a wide range of disabilities, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. You will also support NDIS participants with daily living, community access, and achieving their personal goals.

What you'll be doing

n

n
Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
n
Providing social and emotional support, engaging clients in meaningful activities, and fostering social connections
n
Advocating for client needs and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care
n
Documenting client progress and maintaining detailed records in accordance with organisational policies
n




Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and quality standards to ensure the wellbeing of clients
n

What we're looking for

n

n
Experience in aged care, disability support, or a related field, with a demonstrated understanding of the unique needs of people with psychosocial and physical disabilities
n
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide compassionate care
n
Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate the diverse needs and preferences of clients
n
A caring, empathetic, and positive approach to working with vulnerable individuals
n
A current First Aid certificate, NDISWC, WWCC, Drivers licence, relevant qualifications and/or a willingness to undertake any required training or certifications
n
