The Role
n
This is a hands‐on maintenance position responsible for preventative and reactive (breakdown) maintenance across production equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring plant reliability, efficiency, and safe operation.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production equipment
n
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical faults
n
Work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, conveyors, pumps,
and valves
n
Carry out general mechanical maintenance and repairs
n
Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives
n
Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and OHS standards
n
Provide technical support to production teams to minimise downtime
n

About You
n
n
Previous experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing, food production, or FMCG
n
Cert III in Mechanical/Fitting & Turning highly regarded but not essential
n
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
n
Experience with preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
n
Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics preferred
n
Reliable, hands‐on, and proactive with a solid safety focus
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Welding, fabrication, or forklift licence experience highly regarded but not essential
n
