Job Description
This is a full-time on-site position for a Senior Accountant based in Newcastle, NSW. The Senior Accountant will directly support directors, managers and clients to:

Prepare compliance work for a broad client base (Including financial reports, tax returns, BAS and payroll tax)
n
Assist the manager and director with advisory work
n
Attend to tax matters, including GST, CGT, FBT and Div7a
n
Ensure all compliance reporting deadlines are met
n
Coach junior staff, including reviewing their work
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
5+ years' experience in a business services firm
n
Commenced or completed CA/CPA
n
Completed a
commerce/accounting/finance
degree or similar
n
Excellent technical knowledge across all relevant legislation
n
Experience with Xero accounting software is required
n
Committed to delivering an exceptional client experience
n
Experience in coaching, managing and inspiring others
n
Proven flexible, adaptable and innovative problem-solver
n
Skilled, friendly and down to earth
n
Great communicator and team player
n
Australian work rights are required for this position
