Senior Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) SME
n Location: Location: Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, hybrid work model
n Contract: Initial contract until January 2027 with likely extensions

n

We're looking for an experienced Senior Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) SME to design, build, administer, and support enterprise Kubernetes platforms on Microsoft Azure. This is a hands‐on role focused on platform engineering, cluster operations, security, automation, and supporting containerised application deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
Design, build, and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) platforms
n
Manage Kubernetes cluster administration, upgrades, and operational support
n
Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker and Helm
n
Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Bicep
n
Implement Azure networking, security, monitoring, and troubleshooting best practices
n
Support platform automation using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
n

Required Skills:

n

n
Solid experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Kubernetes administration
n
Experience building and supporting enterprise Kubernetes platforms
n
Hands‐on experience with Docker, Helm, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
n
Proficiency with Terraform and/or Bicep
n
Robust knowledge of Azure networking, security, monitoring, and troubleshooting
n
Experience supporting Kubernetes platforms in large enterprise environments is highly regarded.
