The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that fabricated components and finished products meet company standards, engineering drawings, and customer specifications before progressing through production or dispatch.

Key Responsibilities
n
Inspect fabricated components throughout the manufacturing process.
n
Verify dimensions against engineering drawings and specifications.
n
Conduct visual inspections of welds and fabricated assemblies.
n
Complete quality inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
n
Identify and document non-conforming products.
n
Work closely with the fabrication supervisors and production team to resolve quality issues.
n
Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and customer requirements.
n
Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high quality standards.
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role you will have:
n
Experience in a fabrication, manufacturing, or engineering setting.
n
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
n
Robust attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
n
Positive communication and organisational skills.
n
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Trade qualification in fabrication, welding, or mechanical engineering.
n
Experience in quality control or quality assurance.
n
Knowledge of welding standards and fabrication inspection processes.
n
Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems.
n
Hydraulic experience.
n
Press brake experience.
n
Machining experience (advantageous but not essential).
