Our client is seeking an experienced CAD Drafter to support a six-month project focused on reviewing, updating and standardising technical drawings across a portfolio of approximately 30 facilities.

Working independently, you will be responsible for converting legacy Public Works drawings into a recent drawing standard and producing accurate Works As Executed (WAE) documentation for inclusion within Operations & Maintenance manuals.

Key Responsibilities
n

Review and interpret existing Public Works drawings and documentation
n
Convert and redraw legacy drawings to align with current drafting standards
n
Produce accurate Works As Executed (WAE) drawings for O&M; manuals
n
Ensure consistency and accuracy across drawings for approximately 30 buildings
n
Maintain drawing registers and project documentation
n
Work autonomously to deliver project outcomes within established timeframes
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
n
n
Demonstrated experience as a CAD Drafter, Draftsperson or AutoCAD Technician
n
Robust AutoCAD proficiency and technical drafting capability
n
Ability to interpret existing drawings and replicate drawing standards accurately
n
High attention to detail and commitment to quality documentation
n
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage your workload independently
n
Experience within engineering, manufacturing, utilities, construction, infrastructure or building services environments will be highly regarded
n
