Job Description

First Sheds is a leading supplier and installer of high-quality steel sheds throughout Canberra and the surrounding region. We're looking for a reliable, motivated team member to join our growing construction crew.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety. You'll be involved in all aspects of site preparation and external works for residential, rural and commercial shed projects.

About the Role

n

Your responsibilities will include:
n
Operating Bobcats, excavators and other plant equipment.
n
Site cuts, earthworks and excavation.
n
Demolition using machinery.
n
Installing stormwater, drainage and plumbing pipework.
n
Installing underground electrical conduits.
n
Preparing concrete slabs and shed sites.
n
Paving, retaining walls and landscaping works.
n
Loading, unloading and maintaining equipment.
n
Working safely and efficiently as part of a small team.
n
Assisting with general construction tasks as required.
n

About You

n

n
We're looking for someone who:
n
Has experience operating Bobcats and excavators.
n
Holds a current White Card.
n
Has a current driver's licence (MR licence an advantage).
n
Can read plans and work independently.
n




Takes pride in producing quality workmanship.
n
Is physically fit and enjoys working outdoors.
n
Has a positive attitude and robust work ethic.
n
Is reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
n

Highly Regarded

n

n
Excavator and skid steer tickets.
n
Experience with plumbing or drainage installation.
n
Experience installing underground electrical conduits.
n
Landscaping or paving experience.
n
Truck licence.
n
Machinery maintenance experience.
n
