The Role
Reporting to the NSW Pre-Construction Manager, you will support the preparation of fit-out and refurbishment tenders from initial enquiry through to submission.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates and tender submissions.
Reviewing drawings, specifications and project documentation.
Performing quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations.
Assisting in the development of tender programmes and methodologies.
Maintaining tender registers and estimating databases.
Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
Supporting handover of successful tenders to project delivery teams.
Assisting with value engineering and cost planning exercises.
Contributing to continuous improvement of estimating systems and processes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
1–3 years' experience in an estimating, cadet, contract administration or project coordination role within the construction industry.
Exposure to commercial fit-out, refurbishment or construction projects (desirable).




A qualification or current studies in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building, Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
