Position:

We are seeking a highly professional, motivated, and enthusiastic individual with relevant qualifications to come and join our team as a Full time Motor Mechanic.

Skills and Experience:

n

n
Maintain, test, and repair motors and mechanical components of trucks, buses, and other heavy vehicles
n
Detect and diagnose defects in engines and parts
n
Disassemble and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components for inspection
n
Repair and replace worn or defective parts, following service manuals as necessary
n




Perform scheduled maintenance services like oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups to ensure smooth vehicle operation and compliance with pollution regulations
n
Reassembling of engines and parts after repairs
n
Test and adjust mechanical parts post-repair to guarantee proper performance
n
Utilize computer assistance for diagnosing and testing parts
n
May conduct vehicle inspections and issue roadworthiness certificates or recommend necessary work for roadworthiness
n
May provide assistance in response to vehicle breakdown incidents.

Qualification

AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
n
At least one year of on-the-job training
n

Remuneration

n

Successful candidate will be paid the salary of $75,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation.
