As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Machinist to complete a MEM30219 – Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade while learning from experienced tradespeople in a supportive workshop setting.

About the Role
n
You will work alongside experienced CNC machinists while completing your apprenticeship. You'll gain practical experience across milling, turning, inspection and general engineering, developing the skills needed to become a qualified tradesperson.

Key Responsibilities
n

Learn to operate CNC milling and turning machines
n
Read and interpret engineering drawings
n
Use precision measuring equipment
n
Assist with machine setups and tooling
n
Carry out quality inspections
n
Maintain a clean and secure work area
n
Follow QA and WHS procedures
n
Work as part of the production team
n

Highly Regarded

Year 11 or 12 completed
n
VET, Metalwork or Engineering studies

Mechanical aptitude

Driver's Licence or working towards one
