Job Description
CaSE is seeking a Project Engineer to support infrastructure delivery across Sydney, Brisbane and regional project locations. This role is suited to an engineer with strong contractor-side delivery experience who can take ownership of work packages and drive outcomes on site.

You will be responsible for coordinating engineering activities across assigned scopes, managing subcontractor interfaces, supporting construction planning and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements.

The role will suit someone who understands the pace of major infrastructure delivery and is comfortable working in embedded delivery teams with contractors, consultants, subcontractors and client representatives..

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Support project teams with constructability input and practical delivery solutions.
n
Manage engineering delivery across assigned civil, structural or infrastructure work packages.
n
Coordinate construction planning, methodology, sequencing and work fronts.
n
Manage RFIs, technical queries, design coordination and engineering documentation.
n
Support procurement, subcontractor scope development and package management.
n
Monitor cost, programme, quality and safety performance.
n
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers,
supervisors and project stakeholders.
n
Prepare construction work packs, ITPs, methodologies and project records.
n
Support commercial reporting, forecasting and progress claims where required.
n
Identify project risks early and help develop practical mitigation plans.
n
Contribute to interface management across utilities, services, authorities and live project environments.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
n
n
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
n
5+ years' experience delivering civil infrastructure or major construction projects.
n
Experience across roads, rail, bridges, structures, utilities, transmission, water, airports or energy infrastructure.
n
Strong understanding of contractor-side delivery, site coordination and package management.
n
Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple work fronts.
n
Valuable commercial awareness and understanding of cost, programme and risk.
n
Strong communication skills and ability to work with site and client teams.
n
Willingness to travel and work regionally as required.
n
Practical, accountable and comfortable working in rapid-moving project environments.
