Technician to join our team in a full-time position.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday.
n
Travel is required as part of this role, with work primarily conducted throughout the Riverina region.
n
Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year (dependent on experience), plus a fully maintained company vehicle provided.

About the Role
n
As a
Restoration/Makesafe
Technician, you will be responsible for attending residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, mould, storm, and other insurance-related events. You will work closely with clients, insurers, and project teams to deliver restoration services efficiently and professionally.
n
The role also will work alongside our building team to deliver makesafes such as ceiling propping, roof makesafe and general building work as required.
n
This is a great role for someone looking to grow with the expansion of the business and take the lead as the technician.

Key responsibilities include:
n

Water extraction and structural drying
n
Fire, smoke, and mould remediation works
n
Installation and monitoring of drying equipment
n
Carpet and contents cleaning where required
n
Recording job progress and completing reports
n
Maintaining equipment and company vehicles
n
Delivering exceptional customer service on every job
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Previous experience as a Restoration Technician within the insurance restoration industry preferred
n
Knowledge of the building and restoration industry, including fire, mould, and water damage restoration highly regarded
n
IICRC qualifications preferred but not essential
n
Experience using tools and equipment associated with building trades highly regarded
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Strong customer service focus with a positive, can-do attitude
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Willingness to travel across the Riverina and some after hours work
n
Current unrestricted driver's licence
n
