THE ROLE
n
Our client, a leading Queensland state government health technology organisation, is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect for a contract role based in the Fortitude Valley, QLD. Running until the end of December **** with possible extension, this is a senior, strategic position reporting to the Senior Director of Digital Architecture. You'll be responsible for the development, maintenance and implementation of Enterprise Technology Architecture — influencing ICT-enabled business change, investment decisions and digital strategy across a large, federated public health environment.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
n
n
Developing and maintaining enterprise architecture strategies, roadmaps and mandated architectural principles aligned to organisational goals
n
Providing specialist advice on enterprise technology architecture to influence ICT planning and investment activities
n
Leading the implementation of services architectures with a focus on sustainability, transparency, efficiency, and lean and agile principles
n
Collaborating across business units,



HHS customers and industry stakeholders to align the services portfolio with business objectives
n
Supporting transformational change management across a large, complex and evolving ICT environment
n
Communicating and negotiating with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to drive adoption of current services and technology reform
n

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
n
n
5+ years' experience in enterprise architecture or design within large, complex organisations
n
Proven ability to develop architectural strategies, roadmaps and standards that meet strategic business requirements
n
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
n
Experience delivering ICT services and solutions in a service provider or commercially oriented organisation
n
Strategic planning capability to lead business and system reform initiatives
n
Deep understanding of public sector operations, ideally within a healthcare context
n
Queensland 'C' class driver's licence (or ability to obtain prior to commencement)
n

NICE TO HAVE
n

Relevant tertiary qualification in ICT, architecture or a related discipline
n
Familiarity with federated service delivery models across government health entities
