We are looking for energetic and motivated Cooks to join our team and work across our Sydney venues.
n
Joining Norths Cammeray means you are part of Norths Collective which includes The Greens North Sydney, The Alcott Lane Cove, The Verandah Beecroft and Seagulls Tweed Heads.
n
Your Key Priorities will be to:
n
n
Overseeing the preparation, cooking and presentation of food
n
Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef where required
n
Financial performance by maintaining proper portion and stock control to keep food costs down
n
Creating tasting menus notes to provide to floor staff when changing the menu
n
Maintaining clean and orderly workspaces
n
Hygiene and food safety of the highest level in accordance with food safety guidelines and Club policies and procedures
n
Actively driving and supporting a range of Work, Health and Safety Compliance activities
n
Directing and supporting those in your team
n




Training of junior kitchen team members demonstrated through policies and procedures and all training courses offered by Norths Collective
n
Maintain effective communication with all key stakeholders
n
n
The Candidate:
n
n
Experience in working under pressure in a fast paced and high volume kitchen
n
Understanding strict health and hygiene standards and Workplace Health & Safety legislation
n
Experience in food quality control
n
Capability to work a rotating roster that includes days, nights, weekends and public holidays
n
Passionate about producing great tasting, looking quality food
n
n
n
Energetic, energised, management team that is embracing change and focused on success
