RRC Australia is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing food manufacturing business seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join their maintenance team.
n
This is a fantastic prospect for a trade-qualified electrician who enjoys hands-on maintenance work and has strong mechanical aptitude. While the role is primarily electrical, you'll also be involved in mechanical maintenance and equipment change-outs as required, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and working across multiple disciplines.

Monday to Thursday, 10:00am - 6:00pm

Overtime available on Fridays as required

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Perform electrical preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on production and packaging equipment
n
Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently to minimise production downtime
n
Carry out electrical testing, inspections,
and maintenance in accordance with site standards and regulations
n
Assist with mechanical maintenance, component replacements, and equipment change-outs as required
n
Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures
n
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving equipment reliability and performance
n
Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to maximise plant uptime and operational efficiency
n

About You
n
n
Qualified Electrician with a current electrical licence
n
Previous maintenance experience within manufacturing, food production, FMCG, or a similar industrial environment
n
Robust mechanical aptitude and willingness to undertake mechanical maintenance tasks
n
Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
n
Reliable, proactive, and safety-focused approach
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
