Cyber Security Specialist - Contract Opportunity | Carseldine, QLD (Hybrid)
Are you a cyber security professional who loves finding risks before the bad guys do?
We're looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to join a high-impact project team and help strengthen security governance, risk management, and architecture across a large, complex workplace.
Location: Carseldine, QLD (Hybrid)
Contract: 27 July ********* December ****
Rate: Open for negotiation (hourly)
What you'll be doing:
Reviewing projects, designs, and technical solutions through a security lens
Conducting threat and risk assessments
Providing practical security advice aligned to best-practice frameworks
Working closely with business and technical stakeholders
Supporting security governance, risk,
and compliance initiatives
We're keen to speak with professionals who have:
5+ years of cyber security, security architecture, or information security experience
Strong GRC and risk management expertise
Exposure to frameworks such as ISO *****, ASD ISM, Essential Eight, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS
Experience within government, transport, or other large enterprise environments
Knowledge of ISMS development, policies, standards, and security assurance
