Lead Solution Architect – Payments Architecture
Location:Melbourne/Brisbane/Sydney
Contract: 6-12 Months rolling

The Opportunity
As a Lead Solution Architect, you will be responsible for shaping and defining the payments architecture across a portfolio of high-profile projects.
You will work on transactions, system integrations, and end-to-end architectural designs, ensuring resilience, scalability, and regulatory compliance in a mission-critical environment.
Key Criteria
Lead the architectural strategy for payments-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Design and oversee complex system integrations, ensuring seamless transactions across various platforms.
Provide technical leadership and governance, ensuring best practices in architecture and software development.
Engage with senior stakeholders,



translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Assess risks and architectural challenges in a high-availability, high-security environment.
Stay hands-on with technology, guiding engineering teams in implementing scalable and efficient solutions.
Key Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Lead Solution Architect in a banking or financial services environment.
Strong technical background in payments architecture, transactions, and system integrations.
Deep understanding of real-time payments, batch processing, APIs, microservices, and cloud technologies.
Experience working in a high-risk, high-complexity environment, ensuring security, compliance, and resilience.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
