About the Role

n

Reporting to the Catering Manager, you will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of high-quality cold meal items, ensuring residents receive protected, nutritious and enjoyable meals.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
Prepare salads, sandwiches, desserts and cold meal components.
n
Assist with meal plating and presentation.
n
Ensure food safety, hygiene and infection control standards are maintained.
n
Complete food safety documentation and temperature monitoring.
n
Monitor stock levels and advise of ordering requirements.
n
Work collaboratively with the catering team to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
n
Maintain a clean and organised work setting.

About You

n

n
Previous experience as a Cook, Chef or Cold Larder Cook.
n
Knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles.
n
Experience in aged care or healthcare catering is highly regarded.
n
Reliable, organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
n
Solid communication and teamwork skills.
n
A genuine passion for providing quality meals for older people.
n
