The Opportunity

n

Working within a collaborative team, you'll take ownership of your own import shipments from booking through to final delivery. The role is predominantly Import Seafreight (approximately 90%), with occasional airfreight movements, giving you plenty of variety while allowing you to build robust relationships with customers, overseas agents and service providers.

n

Your Responsibilities

n

n
Manage end-to-end Import Seafreight operations (FCL & LCL)
n
Coordinate import bookings with overseas offices and agents
n
Liaise with customers, customs brokers, transport providers and shipping lines
n




Arrange cartage and monitor shipment milestones through to delivery
n
Complete invoicing and operational documentation
n
Maintain accurate shipment records in CargoWise
n
Deliver exceptional customer service while managing multiple shipments
n

To be successful, you'll have:

n

n
Previous experience in International Freight Forwarding
n
Solid Import Seafreight operations experience
n
Experience using CargoWise One
n
Sound understanding of import procedures, Incoterms and transport coordination
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
The ability to prioritise, multitask and work well within a team
n
